Welcome to In Motion Fit!

We're a training program for runners and walkers. Many of our members have a goal of completing a marathon or half marathon. However, others just want to run or walk with a fun group of people. Our coaches are devoted to getting our members in the best shape of your life in a non-intimidating, fun and safe environment. Members receive weekly training schedules, Saturday morning group workouts, access to trained coaches, informational seminars, discounts to are running stores, an In Motion Fit training T-shirt and more!

Whether you are a couch-potato, walker, casual jogger, or race veteran, this program is the most enjoyable, inspiring, and efficient way to get in the best shape of your life and to stay in shape. You'll feel fitter, happier, and mentally stronger.

Our upcoming Fit programs:

In Motion Fit Plus. This maintenance program is intended for those who are currently running or walking 6 to 8 miles.  Our focus will be on staying in shape and connected to other runners and walkers.  In addition, training plans will be available for the La Jolla Half Marathon, the Rock 'n' Roll Marathon or Half Marathon,  and any other spring or summer race. There will be a San Diego and a Carlsbad group, and each will meet on Saturday mornings for a group workout.

America's Finest City Half Marathon Official Training Program.  This 16-week program will get you trained and ready to complete the America's Finest City Half Marathon on Sunday, August 15, 2010.  Space is limited and open only to those individuals who can already run 3 miles. AFC Half Marathon has a 3-hour time limit. Only those who can maintain a 13:40-minute-per-mile pace or faster should join us for this training program. The $60 entry fee for this program does not include entry into the AFC Half Marathon. You must register for the event separately. .

In Motion Fit Plus

On Saturday, March 6:

San Diego group will meet at Montevalle Community Center located at 850 Duncan Ranch Rd in Chula Vista.  Walkers @ 7:00 a.m. and runners @ 7:30 a.m.

Carlsbad group will meet at the Carlsbad Sheraton at 7:30 a.m.
